Verse 1: “जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुन सागर।
जय कपीस तिहुँ लोक उजागर॥\”

Victory to Lord Hanuman, the ocean of wisdom and virtues.
Victory to the lord of monkeys, who enlightens the three worlds.”

Meaning: In this stanza, the Bhakt has extolled Lord Hanuman as the embodiment of wisdom and virtues. He has compared him with an ocean, which shows that his wisdom and virtues are vast and beyond imagination. The verse also describes Lord Hanuman as the Kapish, the lord of monkeys, who is held in reverence by all the three worlds: the earth, the heavens, and the netherworld. This is to emphasize his greatness and universal significance. The verse is an invocation of Hanuman’s divine qualities and his role as a protector and guide for all beings.
