About Hanuman Chalisa

The Hanuman Chalisa was penned by the great 16th-century saint and poet Tulsidas, best known for his magnum opus, the Ramcharitmanas-a retelling of the Ramayana in Hindi. Tulsidas wrote the Hanuman Chalisa in the Awadhi dialect of Hindi. His deep devotion to Lord Ram and Hanuman reflects in the verses, and it is believed that chanting the Chalisa invokes Hanuman’s blessings and guidance.
